Organic Agriculture reduces the emission of polluting gases
The Agricultural experts from the Agriculture and Biology division at the NRC recommends to expand using organic fertilizers generated from Agricultural residues. Dr. Omaima El Sawan from the department confirmed that expanding organic agriculture contributes to reducing the production of carbon dioxide and water consumption by 20 percent. Dr. Omaima also noted to the advantage of agricultural residues which represent a national treasure if exploited properly which will size up to 35 million tons per annum.
