The presidential decree number 438 for the year 2009 on Oct 2009 was issued for the appoinmet of Professor Dr. Ashraf Shaalan as the President of the National Research Centre for four years starting from 19/11/2009.
It is worth saying that Prof. Dr. Ashraf Shaalan is a professor at the NRC and was the head of the Medical Research Division and then a decree number 172 for the year 2008 in August was issued for hiring him vice President of the academy of Scientific Research and Technology and supervisor of the international cooperation center for biotechnology at the Academy.
